Cthulunauts T-Shirt Design

Posted this yesterday on Halolz for "Cthulu Cthursday" (as Mike calls it!)

“They all lay in stone houses in Their great city of R’lyeh, preserved by the spells of mighty Cthulhu for a glorious resurrection when the Starites and the earth might once more be ready for Them.”

I guess even an ancient unspeakable evil like Cthulu can’t resist collecting those Starites!
Or should I say Pentagramites?

The concept for this shirt came from , who has pitched a few shirt ideas to me this year... and honestly on this one, I just had to try it! If you didn't know, the demon Cthulu is one of the many many objects and creatures you can summon in the DS game Scribblenauts, so reversing the roles and putting Cthulu in a chicken hat was just too good for me to resist!

I wish we could have gotten it finished while Scribblenauts was still kind of buzzworthy, but oh well... you never know with these kinds of shirts!

As for the art, I had to recruit some help from the talented Garth Graham to put this one together. All and all I like how it came out, I feel like it has a nice blend of serious and cutesy.
